The Baboons

A favorite last year, frontwoman Majica and band blend a funky Cajun zydeco sound with a jazzy latin feel.  A unique sound that is all Miami. The Baboons can be seen at the best local music venues, including our festival.  The Baboons specialize in spontaneous rhythmic combustion - Ultra-rhythmic Urban Tribal Afro-Cuban Funk ‘n’ Roll.

Viva are a lot of fun, with a classic rock and roll show from the 50’s and 60’s. You are going to have a great time, so bring your dancing shoes. By the way, these guys have performed with Cheap Trick, The Beach Boys, Paul Revere and the Raiders, Three Dog Night, The Drifters, and even Jon Secada.

A major musical event takes place tonight on the main Festival Stage, and you WILL want to be a part of it. If you haven’t seen them lately, you haven’t seen them! The latest incarnation of Miami’s home-grown favorite band is hotter than ever.  Graham Wood Drought and IKO IKO headline tonight.  If you are one of their fans, you need no introduction.  To those of you who do not know IKO IKO, Springs River Festival brings the foot-stompin’, Blues-rockin’ legendary IKO IKO into your own back yard. A true Miami institution, IKO IKO is considered one of the best blues bands around. We are very lucky to have them here with us tonight.
