Spectators lined the streets to watch the Preferred Alliance Capital and C & S Premier Realty Springs River Festival Cycling Classic early Saturday morning. Riders raced around a 1.2 mile circuit through the beautiful tree lined streets of Miami Springs for $3500 in cash and prizes.
Professional racers from around the world competed in USCF Sanctioned pro level racing events before the amateur races such as the Civil Service Challenge, Everglades Bicycle Club Family Fun Race, and Dr. Ray Echevarria’s Kids Mini Klassic.
Proceeds from the event were distributed evenly between the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the National Breast Cancer Foundation, and the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation.
